REJECTION SENSITIVE DYSPHORIA (POEM)

1. Rejection can be hard, it's not easy to take
It can leave us feeling hurt and feeling like a mistake

2. It's easy to get lost in the pain and the sorrow
But it's important to remember that it's not always our fault

3. We can't control how others feel, or how they choose to act
But we can be more mindful of our own emotions and reactions

4. We can learn to be more accepting of rejection, and to let go
Of the fear and the hurt, and to move on with the flow

5. We can learn to be resilient, to find the strength within
To keep going, keep moving, and to take the next step

6. We can learn to be kind to ourselves, to be gentle and kind
To be patient and understanding, and to have an open mind

7. We can learn to be patient, to wait and to see
What the future brings, and to find a way to be free

8. We can learn to be brave, to take risks and to try
To reach out and connect, and to find a way to fly

9. We can learn to be sensitive, to be understanding and kind
To accept our flaws, and to accept what we find

10. Rejection can be hard and it can be difficult to take
But it can also be an opportunity to learn and to grow

11. We can learn to be sensitive to rejection, to be kind and to care
To listen and to learn, and to be open to what's there
