MY BODY IS HERE. BUT MY MIND IS THERE. (POEM)

My body is here, my mind is there,

A conflict of two worlds I must bear.

My body can touch, my mind can see,

A strange dichotomy that's hard to be.

My body is here, my mind is there,

A battle between two I must prepare.

My body can feel, my mind can think,

A strange combination that's hard to link.

My body is here, my mind is there,

A strange unity that I must share.

My body can move, my mind can learn,

A strange balance that I must discern.

My body is here, my mind is there,

A strange harmony that I must wear.

My body can stretch, my mind can soar,

A strange freedom that I must explore.

My body is here, my mind is there,

A strange puzzle that I must repair.

My body can jump, my mind can dream,

A strange journey that I must redeem.

My body is here, my mind is there,

A strange harmony that I must share.
