I AM STRONGER THAN MY OBSESSIONS (POEM)

I

I am stronger than my obsessions,
Though they be fierce and strong;
My will and mind shall be the lesson
To which they do not belong.

II

My courage is my shield,
My spirit is my sword;
No force of darkness can yield
My strength and courage to hoard.

III

My will is strong and sure,
My heart is brave and true;
My faith will ever endure
The darkness I must subdue.

IV

My obsessions may be strong,
But I am stronger still;
My courage will never be wrong,
My will is ever will.

V

My obsessions may be loud,
But I will not be cowed;
My spirit will be proud
And stand firm, unbowed.

VI

My strength will never waiver,
My courage will not tire;
My will will never waiver
In the face of any fire.

VII

My obsessions may be deep,
But I will stand my ground;
My courage will never sleep,
My will shall never drown.

VIII

My obsessions may be great,
But I will never yield;
My courage will be my fate,
My will will never yield.

IX

My obsessions may be fierce,
But I will never break;
My courage will never pierce
The strength of my will to take.

X

My obsessions may be strong,
But I will never fall;
My courage will be my song,
My will will stand tall.
