I AM SELF OBSESSED AND I LIKE IT THIS WAY ! (POEM)

 I am self-obsessed and I like it this way,

My life is my own and I'm here to stay.

I'm not here to please anyone else,

Just to be myself and do it well.

I'm not looking for validation or approval,

I'm just trying to live life with a little more soul.

I'm not afraid to be the center of attention,

I'm proud of who I am and my own invention.

I'm not here to live for the expectations of others,

I'm here to do what I want, no matter the cost.

I'm not here to fit in with the crowd,

I'm here to stand out, to be proud.

I'm not here to please the masses,

I'm here to do what I believe is best.

I'm not here to be like everyone else,

I'm here to be my own unique self.

I am self-obsessed and I like it this way,

Living life by my own rules, each and every day.

I'm not here to be anyone else's puppet,

I'm here to be my own person, no one to forget.
