HIS BOTTLED UP EMOTIONS (POEM)

 His bottled up emotions

Lurk within his heart,

A deep and heavy burden

That keeps him from his start.

He holds it in so tightly,

It's hard to break the chains,

Thoughts and feelings all tangled

In a web of mental pains.

He tries to keep it hidden,

But it's hard to hide away,

The hurt and sadness that he feels

Each and every day.

He struggles to express himself,

To let these feelings out,

But the walls he's built around him

Seem to always keep them down.

He's tried to talk it out,

To find some kind of peace,

But the weight of these emotions

Are too hard to release.

He's desperate for an answer,

A way to let them go,

But the walls around his heart

Continue to grow.

He's trying to find his way,

To break through this dark night,

And if he can find his courage

He can finally see the light.

He's ready to take the chance,

To finally let it go,

And with each step he takes,

His bottled up emotions start to show.

He's found his way at last,

To a place that's free of pain,

Where he can finally express himself,

And his bottled up emotions can reign.
