My heart is aching, my soul is numb,

I'm feeling so lonely and so undone.

My emotions are hidden, my feelings are gone,

My heart is shut down and I'm all alone.

My emotions are buried and I'm all alone.

I can't feel the joy, I can't feel the pain,

My heart is shut down and I'm going insane.

I can't feel the love, I can't feel the fear,

My emotions are blocked and I'm living in fear.

I'm so scared to feel, I'm so scared to care,

My heart is shut down and I'm so unaware.

My emotions are blocked and I'm feeling so small.

I'm so scared to trust, I'm so scared to love,

My heart is shut down and I'm so far above.

My heart is a fortress, my soul is a shield,

My emotions are locked up and I'm not healed.
