DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY (POEM)

 Verse 1:

We are a family, but not a perfect one

Our love is strong, but our dysfunction is strong

We all have our issues, and our secrets untold

Our problems we try to hide, but our pain still unfolds

Verse 2:

We all have our pain, and our wounds that still bleed

Our hearts are broken, but no one can see

We try to put on a brave face, but we all feel so alone

We try to keep our smiles, but our tears still flow

Verse 3:

We all have our moments, and our moments of despair

Our words can be harsh, but our love is still there

We try to make the best of it, but our pain still lingers on

We try to keep our heads up, but our hearts are still so heavy and worn

Verse 4:

We all have our struggles, and our struggles to cope

Our dreams are shattered, and our hope is lost

We try to keep it together, but our pain still shows through

We try to keep our spirits up, but our hearts are still so blue

Verse 5:

We all have our battles, and our battles to fight

Our hearts are fragile, and our courage is slight

We try to make it through, but our pain still lingers on

We try to keep our faith, but our hope is still so gone

We all have our moments, and our moments of doubt

Our tears are silent, but our pain still shouts
