Self Discovery is a wonderful process of uncovering your true potential.
I believe Self Discovery is the first step to Self Actualization. A person should understand himself or herself and then continue to marvel his destiny.

If a person hates being controlled by others, he or she would never enjoy a job in which he or she cannot use his or her mind.

For instance, a met a girl in therapy. She was stuck in a job where she had to teach toddlers. The job paid well and she was able to take care of herself and her aging parents.

But she wanted to teach college students. Obviously she was overqualified. She could take the plunge and leave this government job.

But I asked her to take up tutoring older kids. She became a personal tutor to two siblings. Gradually she joined an academy of High school and college students.
She did not leave her job at the montessori but she might consider leaving it, when she gets a well paid and insured job at College level.

Self-discovery is a journey of exploration, self-reflection, and personal growth. It can be a rewarding and enlightening experience, allowing us to learn more about ourselves and our potential. With that in mind, here are 20 steps to help guide you on your journey of self-discovery.

One, take the time to ask yourself thought-provoking questions about yourself. What do I truly want out of life? What type of person do I want to be? What do I value most? Answering these questions can help to provide clarity and insight into who you are and what you stand for.

Two, explore your passions and interests. What activities do you enjoy doing? What type of books do you enjoy reading? What hobbies have you always wanted to explore? Taking the time to explore and develop interests that fulfill you can help you gain a better understanding of yourself.
